“Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are.”
(Jason Crandell, Yoga Journal, November 2005).
With the air date for Yoga for Life: The Challenge Series just around the corner, I can’t help but reflect on how much this series has enriched the lives of all who have had the pleasure of working on it. There’s been a ton of laughter, lots of hard work, hours upon hours of yoga, and, of course, the one and only Kurt Johnsen.
I jokingly told Kurt during filming that he was “infectious,” but the reality is that his message truly is spreading (in a good way, of course). This series is exceptional because we encourage viewers to explore their limits and really discover themselves both mentally and physically. It is all about growing by getting out of your comfort zone. After all, if you’re comfortable, you’re not growing, and if you’re not growing, well…you know….
Veria is a unique network with a unique goal – to bring a healthy lifestyle to all of its viewers. As the Series Producer for this season, I am very proud to be part of the team which helped bring to life such a positive message. I couldn’t be more pleased with the finished product and the message it conveys.
With that in mind, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who had a part in making this season a success. Every single crew member truly put their heart and soul into this project. I can’t wait for everyone to see the finished show, which is set to air on Monday, December 13th, only on Veria.
