Who We Are
Kim Clemons
Kim Clemons
Sr. Producer / Writer

Kim began her broadcasting career at the age of four in her bathtub. It was there she performed for her parents using shampoo bottles as microphones and the back labels for her scripts. Many years later Kim studied Radio, Television, and Film at San Jose State University and then quickly moved to Texas for more opportunities. Although Kim found herself working in the Programming Department at KXAS in Dallas, she longed to be where the shows were created – not scheduled. So she gave up her weekends and volunteered on their community affairs show, Five Talk Street.

Between 1994 and 1999 Kim worked, wrote and produced for a host of television and radio projects including Best of All, No Cover, Positively Texas, The Doug Banks in the Morning, and Good Morning Texas.

In October 1999, Kim was hand-picked to produce NBC’s start-up project, The Ainsley Harriott Show, in Manhattan – executive produced by Merv Griffin and Michael Gelman of Regis and Kelly fame. After Ainsley, Kim produced the syndicated show Crossing Over with John Edward for four years and then A&E’s hit reality show, Growing Up Gotti.

In the spring of 2004, Kim decided that Dallas was where she needed to be and moved back. Soon after, Kim freelanced as producer for Whose Wedding is it Anyway? for E!, Cross Country with John Edward, Bridezillas for WE tvand covered Hurricane Katrina for the FOX News Channel.

Kim joined AMS Pictures as a Senior Writer/Producer in 2006. Since then, her favorite achievements are Senior Producing 40 episodes of Yoga For Life for Veria, Directing/Producing the documentary A Colored Life, and Senior Producing the WEtv Network Pilot and 6-episode series Girl Meets Gown.
